a week in the life of a TV critic
Wondering what I do on a day-to-day basis? All will be revealed.
I am very often explaining what I do for work. The slightly rude questions I get in return range from “how do you make money doing that” to “do you use AI to write your articles?” (NO!) Being a freelancer means I don’t really have coworkers to check in with daily. I’m the only person who is fully aware of what occurs on a work day. I live in Vancouver but I hopped on a ferry with my cat Bramble to spend 10 days on Vancouver Island to housesit for my parents, and it’s been a unique and reflective last little while. Quite rich to document, especially since I’m watching so much. Let’s get into it.
