9 shows I'm watching in July

From an F-graded to an A-graded show, and lots of Netflix comedies in between.

Happy Emmy nomination day! This newsletter was written before the nominations were released, which I hope are fruitful and not a flop. I am working on an Emmys-related newsletter so keep an eye out for that on August 1.

Otherwise, I submitted a ballot to the Television Critics Association Awards for the first time and voted in the Dorian Awards. A tweet of mine went semi-viral calling out all associations for nominating one show in particular.

I’m actually surprised by how much I’ve been watching over the last month considering I was galavanting with friends in Toronto for a week (where I had a lovely brunch with Jordan Gavaris — Clone Club/The Lake Hive knows how iconic that is), but maybe that’s the power of pausing my Real Housewives journey. Let’s get into it.

9. Nine Perfect Strangers, season two (Hulu)
Grade: F
