7. Loot (Apple TV+)
My score: 65/100

As I wrote recently, I’ve been feeling like television is oversaturated with wealth porn. The trend continues with Loot, on flashy private jets and in mansions as we follow Molly (Maya Rudolph) rebuilding her life after gaining $87 billion in a divorce settlement. Molly discovers a non-profit running under her name (run by Sofia, played brilliantly by MJ Rodriguez) and dedicates her time to trying to figure out how to help, despite being significantly disconnected from the needs of anyone not wealthy.

The show is essentially an elevated workplace comedy, with clever one-liners and side characters who will likely never evolve beyond their shtick. I don’t think it’s amazing, but it joins other Apple TV+ comedies (Physical) that I can throw on while I’m meal prepping for the week and enjoy well enough.

6. Angelyne (Peacock)
